No. Every operation runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Files never leave your device. There is no upload, no temporary storage, and no telemetry. We have literally no servers that touch your files.

How does browser-based processing actually work?

We compile professional media libraries (FFmpeg, libwebp, MuPDF) to WebAssembly and run them in your browser tab. Your CPU and GPU do all the work, exactly as a desktop app would.

Yes. The Image Cropper has presets for 1:1, 4:5, 16:9, 9:16, and 3:2, plus a free-form crop. It works on PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF, and GIF, and preserves the original color profile.
